focus goes down, and time to leave home
living out life in the monochrome
it’s a simple place where the colors are few
everything bathed in a simple grey-black hue
but the people are alright, just plain to see
another person bagging food with a college degree
there’s no getting nor doing anything fast
for the minds are set on what is past
the doorbell is set to the postman’s arrival
cutting short silence’s short survival
